Video Plate Punch & Bender

"Memory" Video Plate Punch & Bender is designed keeping in mind the growing demand of quality CTP Plates in commercial & Newspaper Web Presses.

The machine is equipped with CCD Cameras to scan the CTP Plates up to 40 times magnification to register with PC Baseline. This ensures the quickest register for multi color printing on presses, thus saves time & paper cost, caused by traditional page make-up or printing down errors.

The CTP Plate is fed manually on the feeder tray. Electronic sensor actuates the conveyor to transport the plate to Punching & Edge Bending station.

Register Marks specially exposed outside printing area are used for positioning & aligning the Plate with the help of Two CCD Cameras. Cameras record the register marks & transmit the image to the PC for comparing with Zero Position of each camera system. The display images on the monitor evaluates and sends the control signal for automatic aligning by a 3-Axis (X Y & R) co-ordinate table to the correct position for punching & edge bending.

If one or both the register marks are outside the tolerance field, the plate is rejected and moved out from the system without punching & edge bending.

In-line Operation - The machine can be connected in-line to all known CTP Plate setters.

Conveyors & Corner Transfer Units can be supplied for custom configurations.
